The Silk Corporation has evolved out of a love of beautiful things...created by
talented people across the world who are passionate about what they do...and a desire
to share unique products, the like of which are not generally found in our High
Streets.
Walk down any UK High Street and what do you see? It looks no different to any other
High Street. There are the same shops selling the same things – maybe there are
one or two small boutiques which are different but that’s about it.
In fact, given
the remarkable similarity between the products, you would be excused in thinking
that all these shops were somehow linked to one huge buying office somewhere!
The Silk Corporation is different – unique even. We have traversed the world seeking
out beautiful things direct from source. You can find some of the products we offer
- but its hard and they cost the earth. By sourcing direct from manufacturers we
have removed the middle man and by not having shops we have removed enormous fixed
cost. As a result our pricing is comparable with other mainstream retailers.
All our products have been carefully selected ensuring the highest quality and the
highest standards of production and ethics. We have gone out of our way to make
sure that the employees of the companies that make our goods are well looked after
